On November 20th, New Orleans-based artist Leyla McCalla will be performing at the Columbus Theater in Providence at 8pm. A cellist and singer with a distinctive and powerful sound, Leyla finds inspiration from a variety of sources, including her Haitian heritage, New Orleans, and dancing at Cajun Mardi Gras.
